I started playing golf more seriously around the age of 13, I quickly realised that this was the sport that I wanted to pursue,  it ignited a passion I had not had from the other sports I had played until then.  It was then that I set my heart on one day playing golf at the highest level for a living. 
 
I got down to scratch fairly quickly and started winning Club Championships etc.   Then from the age of 16 I started to play golf at both a county and national level. I competed in various major amateur events with relative success, this reinforced my belief that I could compete at the very highest level. 
 
The amateur game is tough and very expensive to fund, so I then found myself caddying for a good friend of mine out on the professional circuit for a few years, this was beneficial for me, as it taught me that playing the game at a professional level has many ups and downs and involves being away from home for many weeks of the year.
 
In 2019 I turned professional myself and started doing my PGA qualification. This took three years, and I can now call myself a fully qualified PGA Professional. However, my passion for competitive golf has never wavered, playing competitive golf has always been my main goal.  In 2023 I started playing full time on the Clutch Pro Tour.

I will be continuing my journey on this tour in 2024,  pushing hard to achieve my goals for the season.   I really appreciate all of the help and support I am getting, as I seek to make my way up the professional ranks.
